Birch Coppice Business Park has recently been the inspiration for a local school’s History project. Tamworth Enterprise College is a secondary school providing education for 600 young people aged 11-16 on the south side of Tamworth. As part of a wider initiative by the Academies Enterprise Trust, the school has been looking at ways of bringing classroom learning to life, including a History project in which year 8 students were learning about how Tamworth was affected by the Industrial Revolution.

Birch Coppice was recently featured in a Logistics Manager piece about the new GB Railfreight intermodal service from Birch Coppice to Felixstowe.
Environmental consultants, Middlemarch, recently undertook a walkover survey at Birch Coppice and produced an ecology report which is available to download here on bulletin. Middlemarch’s report describes the wide range of wildlife that can be found at Birch Coppice. The report also shows that many key habitat features around the site provide a valuable habitat to a variety of species.

Local recruit, Natasha Grogan, has won an Employee Recognition Award to celebrate 20 years since IM Properties acquired Birch Coppice Business Park off junction 10, M42 in North Warwickshire.
Natasha was shortlisted along with three other employees from across the park’s occupiers, for the contribution they have made both to their employers and the community.
