Ceva have taken their second distribution unit

30 April 2008

Ceva have taken their second distribution unit at IM Properties' Birch Coppice Business Park near Tamworth through Birmingham agents Eagleton & Company. Eagleton & Company has secured two new occupiers at IM Properties' Birch Coppice Business Park alongside the M42 motorway at Junction 10, Tamworth.

The latest letting to Ceva at the 400 acre park alongside the M42 motorway at junction 10 is for a 55,000 sq ft logistics centre to handle a contract for a leading mobile phone retailer and takes Ceva's commitment at Birch Coppice to over 403,000 sq ft made up of the 40 acre rail served hub for automotive operator VW Logistics.

The completion last month of a speculative high specification logistics centre of 256,000 sq ft coincided with IM Properties launch to local property agents of a second phase of rail served development plots up to 120 acres.

Despite much cautious comment from leading industrial agents at the recent launch event on the industrial market Mike Eagleton of Eagleton & Company reports strong interest in the new unit which is being marketed on lease terms of £5.75 and is also available freehold.

Now fully operational at Birch Coppice is the 355,000 sq ft UPS parcels hub the second largest unit in Europe for the world's biggest overnight parcel service, eclipsed only by the firms 800,000 sq ft hub at Cologne/Bonn airport, Germany.
